Designed under the philosophy of quiet luxury, Maryborough Residence transforms everyday living through unexpected, highly considered spaces tailored to the rhythms of modern family life. At the heart of this full-home iteration is a former exposed balcony, seamlessly enclosed and reimagined into a light-filled, tranquil first-floor laundry room. Anchored by natural slate tiles in a rich chevron pattern, the space pairs velvety mid-blue cabinetry with natural oak panelling and durable Silestone worktops. Every operational detail was custom-engineered for daily ease.
Throughout the residence, once-overlooked corners were elevated into purposeful, niche sanctuaries. In the narrow powder room, rich burgundy wall panelling creates a dramatic, jewel-box atmosphere, paired with a bespoke vanity that cleverly conceals pipework while transitioning smoothly into the adjoining solid engineered oak floors. Elsewhere, dedicated leisure spaces encourage both pause and play: a "Record Room" offers a moody, cave-like retreat to listen to vinyl and unwind, while a vibrant recreational studio invites boundless imagination. Downstairs, a compact bootroom embraces a deep, rich olive cavern style where every square inch was carefully considered for maximum function. From muddy boots, bagpacks, swimming gear and a quiet place for the family dogs, everything was considered. Framed outside by a fluid arch and dressed with a tailored piece of bespoke joinery to greet the family on a day-to-day basis.
