Hayfield House
Serpentine Interiors were approached by the clients of Hayfield House to help them finish off areas in their home which included the main hallway, upstairs bathroom, living room and utility as well as a colour consultation throughout the home. As this new building is their forever home, timeless, practical spaces with eye-catching furnishings and joinery were sought after.
A highlight of the project was working closely with the clients and their ironmonger to concept and design their staircase. The beautifully crafted bespoke, cast iron and walnut stairs were destined to be the focal point of this Co. Galway home. The staircase cascades in a gentle curve down through the hallway space, settling adjacent to the front door ready to welcome friends and family.

To complete the look, a complimentary cast Iron and wood top console table was styled with crisp white, ceramic lamps and soft, blush artwork allowing for masculine and feminine forms to unite within the room. The perfect spot for fresh lilies each week.

We were lucky enough that one of the clients was a carpenter by trade and all the joinery could be designed together closely, tailored to our design and their individual requirements. This made the space even more personal and ensured the finish was to the standard desired.

“We opted for a few of the room packages with Serpentine Interiors and the results were amazing! The ideas they came up with have transformed our home. The attention to detail definitely saved us money and made the process much easier when bringing it to life. Even when we were a bit unsure they were very approachable to clear up any hesitations we had which meant a lot to us both - we just wanted to get everything right. We really felt they really captured our personality and brought life to the bricks and mortar! Can't recommend them enough.”
